Harvey Philip Spector es un músico y productor estadounidense conocido sobre todo por su técnica de orquestación el Muro de Sonido, el cual permite grabar múltiples pistas de acompañamiento, superponiéndolas hasta crear un sonido compacto y algo apabullante. Esta técnica ha tenido una gran influencia en otros músicos que han experimentado con el estudio como instrumento musical, entre otros, The Beach Boys quienes por influencia de Spector usaban esa técnica y The Beatles, que lo llamaron para que se hiciera cargo de las grabaciones del disco Let It Be.
