George Roger Waters, es un activista, compositor y músico británico, cofundador y líder de la banda de Rock Progresivo Pink Floyd, que es considerada como una de las más importantes en la historia de la música moderna, Además de ser su bajista y aportar la voz para algunos temas, experimentó con sintetizadores, loops y con la guitarra eléctrica y acústica, creando así una atmósfera poco antes vista en el medio.

Gracias a él, Pink Floyd alcanzó el éxito mundial durante la década de 1970 e inicios de loa años 1980, por los álbumes conceptuales The Dark Side Of The Moon (1973), Wish You Were Here (1975), Animals (1977), The Wall (1979) y The Final Cut (1983). Trascendental e indispensable. (1)
